
History RELINK Consulting were founded in 2006 as a Nordic biotech and land development company under a Nordic shareholder company with an investment of almost 10 million EUR setting up daughter companies in Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Skopje, Nairobi, Cape Town, and Copenhagen. Our management have business experience in the region since 1995.
During the financial crises in 2008-2014 the company were delisted from the stock exchange market starting to transform into an investment advisory organisation. The company got the licenses to certify organizations and companies within PRINCE2 programme and project management including scoping, funding, and implementation of EU projects for coming EU candidates including Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania. We secured several EU Instrument Pre-Accession (IPA) funding’s for projects in Slovenia and Croatia.
The Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) is the means by which the EU has been supporting reforms in the enlargement region with financial and technical assistance since 2007. IPA funds build up the capacities of the beneficiaries throughout the accession process, resulting in progressive, positive developments in the region.
For the period 2007-2013, IPA had a budget of EUR 11.5 billion; its successor, the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (known as IPA II), built on the results already achieved by allocating EUR 12.8 billion for the period 2014-2020.
Slovenia became EU member in 2004. Croatia became member in 2014.
During 2012-2015 we provided first international funding including classical country advisor for Nordic partners matching local partners and project owners, typically developers. We continue to offer investment advisory and funding from international investors.
Since 2017 we have offered IT consulting services to including cyber- and information security specialist, developers Java Full stack, Phyton, dot.NET, network specialists IT_OT (SCADA) specialists combined with investment advisory and business development.
As part of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework, on 14 June 2018 the European Commission presented its proposal for IPA successors the Regulation establishing the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA III). Following the political agreement reached with the European Parliament and the Council on 2 June 2021, the Regulation is set to be adopted in September 2021, once the necessary steps at technical level have been taken.
Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Montenegro are EU candidates in the Southeast European region in 2022.
